For its final main house production for 2023, The Loft Theatre Company, Leamington Spa presents The World Goes 'Round. With music by John Kander and lyrics by Fred Ebb, it was conceived by Scott Ellis, Susan Stroman, and David Thompson. In one of its many reviews it was described by The New York Times as:

The World Goes ‘Round is a brilliantly constructed revue of the songbook from the multi-Tony award-winning team of musical theatre collaborators Kander and Ebb, with the original production winning three Drama Desk Awards. The revue takes its title from a tune the songwriting team wrote for Liza Minnelli to sing in the film New York, New York.
Filled with humour, romance, drama and nonstop melody from Cabaret to Chicago, the 5 strong cast and live orchestra feature unforgettable gems, including “Maybe This Time,” “Cabaret” and “New York, New York,” seamlessly interwoven into a passionate evening of musical theatre.
This non-professional production is presented by arrangement with Music Theatre International. All authorised performances materials are also supplied by MTI.
The World Goes 'Round runs at The Loft Theatre, Victoria Colonnade, Leamington Spa from Wednesday 29 November to Saturday 9 December with a performance each evening at 7:30pm, except Sunday 3 December, when the performance will be at 5pm. There will be no performance on Monday 4 December during the scheduled cast break.
