The Gruffalo's Deep Dark Wood!

The Gruffalo, Warwick Arts Centre, Coventry, 2-31 December 2023.

Preview by Ann Cee.

Come! Let’s go to visit Mouse in the Deep Dark Wood! You don’t need to go far - the Deep Dark Wood is right here on the edge of Coventry nestled secretly inside the Warwick Arts Centre!

Let’s go on a magical, musical journey with Mouse. Will we meet the cunning old Fox, or the eccentric Owl, or perhaps the high spirited Snake who are all keen to have Mouse for dinner? Or maybe we’ll meet and greet a Gruffalo! Oh oh Gruff-a-lo! What will Gruffalo have for his dinner?

Gruffalo (Benjamin Alan-Langcaster) and Mouse (Althea Burey)

This Tall Stories stage adaptation of Julia Donaldson and Axel Schaffer’s world famous picture book story will take us on a journey of suspense, wit and wonder as we wind our way through the wily world of Mouse. Wild and raucous laughter is definitely on the menu.

Gruffalo (Benjamin Alan-Langcaster), Fox (Jake Adderley) and Mouse (Althea Burey).

Children of all ages (from 3 years upwards) are sure to be drawn into this winter treat. Everyone is welcome to this show - dedicated familiarisation sessions, BSL performances and relaxed performances can all be booked through the website during December.
