Stepping Out is a warm and very funny play about the lives, laughs and loves of a group of women (and one man) attending a weekly tap-dance class in a dingy North London church hall.

Mavis, a former professional dancer teaches the bumbling tappers whilst mediating the dramas that erupt among the motley but loveable crew. When they learn they are to perform in a local charity showcase, the pressure is on!

As they pull together and prepare for the big day, we follow the characters on a heart-warming journey that celebrates friendship, courage, and of course... dancing! Will they be ready in time?
