Robin Hood: The 48 Hour presented by Sweet Sorrow Theatre Company, at The Bear Pit Theatre, Stratford-upon-Avon on Sunday 27 July, 6pm.

Sweet Sorrow Theatre Company will be undertaking a remarkable theatrical challenge from 25-27 July 2025, where they attempt to stage an entire full-scale production of a new version of Robin Hood in just 2 days!


​A spokesperson says, “Our new version of Robin Hood promises to be creative, experimental and silly - we'll be operating a 'free tickets but pay what you can on exit' policy for this show.”


The aim is to learn the lines, stage the scenes, source the props and costumes and even put together all the tech entirely within this 48-hour period.


​Join Sweet Sorrow at the Bear Pit Theatre to see the colourful and chaotic culmination of their weekend of work – tickets are free but booking is essential, and they will be operating a ‘Pay-what-you-can’ scheme on exit.
