Neon lights, nostalgic beats, and a legendary tune gone rogue. In this reimagining of The Pied Piper, five friends are forced to navigate a new world swept up in greed, corruption, and image. Set in a British town in the late 1980s, the children begin to notice something strange: their parents are different. Cue big hair, bigger shoulder pads, and ridiculously large mobile phones.

Once present and grounded, the adults are suddenly consumed by status, wealth, and success, drawn in by glowing television screens broadcasting the enigmatic Piper himself, who pulls the strings from afar. Eventually, the adults disappear entirely, led away by a tune too tempting to resist.  Now, with no one to guide them, the children are left alone to uncover the truth behind this mysterious modern Piper and try to save their parents from his hypnotic spell.

Set to the biggest hits of the 1980s, Arts Insight Theatre Group’s brand-new jukebox musical stars Robert Hands (currently starring in Cabaret in London’s West End) as the enigmatic Piper broadcast through a giant vintgeTV screen.

The cast also features two live professional puppeteers Lori Hopkins and Ben Moores acting alongside the talented young company made up of performers from across Warwickshire.

During the interval in the bar will be refreshments and 1980’s games and activities for everyone to enjoy.
