Our Day Out, by Willy Russell, at the Priory Theatre, Kenilworth from 5-13 September. Directed by Bev Avis-Dakin and Nicky Main.

Sad, humorous and true to life!
A group of schoolchildren from a deprived district in Coventry are off on a day trip to Conwy Castle in North Wales during the 1970s. The majority of these pupils come from impoverished and troubled families.
The play beautifully captures the complexities of class, education, and the dreams of these disadvantaged children. It’s a touching exploration of their hopes, struggles, and the transformative power of a simple day out.
Backstage Tours: As part of Heritage Open Days the Priory Theatre invites you behind the curtain for an exclusive backstage tour on Sunday 21 September, from 11am to 3pm. You’ll get an intimate look at the theatre’s history, production magic, and the passionate team that brings its shows to life. Whether you're a theatre lover or simply curious, this is a great opportunity to experience the Priory like never before. Booking isn’t necessary but to give an idea of numbers in advance, please consider signing up via their website.
