Mayor of Rugby Attends Ladies' Day

Rugby Mayor at Ladies' Day.

The Mayor of Rugby joined theatre goers for the opening night of the comedy Ladies' Day, showing at Rugby Theatre until Saturday 23 September.

Cllr Maggie O'Rouke donned her glad rags and fascinator for the feel-good play, which is about four women from a fish factory in Hull on a raucous day out to the races.

The Henry Street venue is serving special Ladies Day cocktails in the theatre bar for the occasion, and dressing up is encouraged!

"We were thrilled to see the Mayor supporting local theatre and having a great night out at Ladies' Day," says Rugby Theatre's marketing director Wendy Kay. "There's still time to catch this hilarious and heart-warming story of female friendship - we guarantee you'll leave feeling uplifted!"

Ladies’ Day runs until 23 September. Tickets are available from the Rugby Theatre box office on 01788 541234, or www.rugbytheatre.co.uk.
