The Belgrade Theatre are thrilled to announce that Coventry Musical Theatre Society are back with the dazzling, fabulously sassy and uplifting Kinky Boots; strutting their stuff with sparkles, stilettos and a whole lot of heart.


Winner of every major Best Musical award, and with songs by pop legend Cyndi Lauper, Kinky Boots is inspired by a true story. This musical celebration is about the friendships we discover, and the belief that you can change the world when you change your mind.


A joyous high-heeled hit, taking you from the factory floor to the catwalks of Milan, in a feel-good and heart-warming tale of friendship, filled with joy and laughter.


Charlie Price has reluctantly inherited his father’s shoe factory, which is on the verge of bankruptcy. Trying to live up to his father’s legacy and save his family business, Charlie finds inspiration in the form of Lola. A fabulous entertainer in need of some sturdy stilettos, Lola turns out to be the one person who can help Charlie becomes the man he’s meant to be. As they work to turn the factory around, this unlikely pair finds that they have more in common than they ever dreamed possible.


The multi award-winning Coventry Musical Theatre Society are proud to bring this spectacular show to the Belgrade Theatre. Following their highly successful productions of Peter Pan, Shrek, Annie, Monty Python’s Spamalot and 42nd Street, this year they are thrilled to bring you Kinky Boots.


This amateur production is presented by arrangement with Music Theatre International.
