Lady Maisery are well practised at headlining on the festival circuit but for one night only, we get to experience them in the comfort of the Warwick Arts Centre Studio. Lucky us! Hazel, Hannah and Rowan have a huge array of folk tunes and techniques to carry their audience from old times to new in their own unique way. After more than a decade and four albums together, their performance is expected to blend the traditional and contemporary in a seamless meander through warmth, hope and vulnerability. I’m hoping that they’ll partner their exquisite voices with banjo, fiddle, harp and clogs (yes clogs!) to give us a truly original folk night to remember.
