Inspired by the life of the legendary Nina Simone, this acclaimed play by Apphia Campbell blends theatre, live music, and history into an unforgettable evening.

Follow the story of a brilliant singer and civil rights activist as she reflects on her journey — from a young piano prodigy bound for the church to an iconic voice at the heart of the Civil Rights Movement. Along the way, experience many of Nina Simone’s most powerful and beloved songs performed live.

Having toured internationally to sell-out seasons in Shanghai, New York, Edinburgh, and London’s West End — and winner of the Best Theatre Award, Adelaide Fringe 2024 — this production has moved audiences around the world to standing ovations.

A powerful night of music, memory, and the enduring spirit of Nina Simone.
