The Talisman Theatre is delighted to announce this year’s festive family pantomime: Robinson Crusoe, written by Stephen Duckham. Packed with swashbuckling fun, colourful characters, and plenty of laugh-out-loud moments, this ocean-going adventure promises to bring waves of joy to audiences of all ages.

Join brave explorer Robinson Crusoe (Harry Bowser) as he leaves home in search of fortune and adventure, accompanied by his enthusiastic brother Billy Crusoe (Jack Ives) and their determined mother Clarissa Crusoe (Ben Ionoff). But trouble is never far away, especially with the wicked pirate Davina Jones (Sam Harris) plotting chaos on the high seas. Luckily, the majestic and magical Britannia (Lauren McCann) is watching over their voyage, bringing sparkle and wonder to this tropical tale.

Audiences can expect toe-tapping musical numbers, dazzling costumes, and the trademark Talisman panto fun that brings the whole community together each festive season.

Director Gill Halford says: “Robinson Crusoe is a classic tale bursting with heart, humour, and high-seas adventure. We’ve created a show full of energy, mischief, and moments that will have the whole family laughing, cheering, and joining in. We can’t wait to welcome everyone aboard for this year’s pantomime voyage!”

This year’s production features another magical set design by Wendy Morris, whose creative storytelling through sets is a beloved part of Talisman pantomimes. She is joined by Assistant Director and Choreographer Sally Jolliffe, whose talent and flair help bring movement, rhythm, and extra sparkle to the show.

Following the success of last year’s introduction of a Relaxed Performance, the Talisman Theatre is thrilled to offer this accessible option once again. The Relaxed Performance will take place on 3rd January at 1pm, creating a welcoming environment for audience members who would benefit from a more sensory-friendly experience. The Relaxed Pantomime is generously sponsored once again this year by the Kenilworth Lions, whose continued support helps make accessible theatre possible for our community. Adjustments include reduced capacity, open auditorium doors for free movement, no strobe lighting or pyrotechnics, and a gentler, more relaxed atmosphere. Full details will be available on the Talisman Theatre website.

Running from 20 December 2025 to 3 January 2026 at the Talisman Theatre, Barrow Road, Kenilworth, Robinson Crusoe offers a spectacular mix of evening and matinee performances perfect for the festive season.

Tickets are expected to sell quickly - so gather your crew and prepare to set sail for an unforgettable pantomime adventure!
