Rother Street Arts House will host the premiere of Elton’s Song on Saturday 18 April, unveiling an electrifying new tribute show performed by a collective of local musicians. Led by Stratford-upon-Avon based pianist, piano tuner and teacher Henry Salmon, the production celebrates the timeless music of Elton John and his long-time collaborator Bernie Taupin.


Audiences can expect a vibrant journey through Elton John’s iconic catalogue, including standout tracks from the legendary 1973 album Goodbye Yellow Brick Road, alongside many other beloved hits spanning more than five decades.


The musicians behind Elton’s Song bring more than 30 years of combined performance experience across the UK and Europe, promising a night of musical excellence, energy and heartfelt homage.

Speaking about the launch, Henry Salmon said: “It’s a real honour to launch this band of talented local musicians in the town we call home, and to do so in a venue that sits at the heart of Stratford’s cultural and community life as Rother Street Arts House begins its own exciting next chapter.”


This performance marks the official launch of a brand-new show dedicated to Elton John’s extraordinary career, from his earliest releases in 1969 to his continued influence today.
