The British Motor Museum at Gaydon is hosting the 2025 TCS Summer Show on Saturday 7 June from 10.30am – 4pm.

Preview.

If you’re mad about model railways you won’t want to miss the 2025 TCS Summer Show taking place in the British Motor Museum on Saturday 7 June. The show brings together three top names in the world of Model Railways - The Train Collectors’ Society, The Bassett-Lowke Society and the Trix-Twin Railway Collectors’ Association.

With these three societies on hand, there’s bound to be lots of chat and banter from like minded model railway fans, so a great day out awaits you. There will be 13 inspirational railway layouts on display, and all the different Gauges from N Gauge to Gauge 1 represented.  Additionally, around 25 leading traders will be offering everything for the model railway enthusiast from new and pre-loved locomotives, rolling stock, track and accessories and much more.

A highlight of the day will be the launch of Christine Sanderson’s latest A5 book in 'The Making of an Identity' series on Bassett-Lowke. This book – her fourth, Bassett-Lowke Shops & Factories outlines in great detail all the shops and factories that Bassett-Lowke Ltd occupied from Northampton to Edinburgh. It’s a fascinating, in depth read, packed with photographs and colourful images to illustrate this interesting journey of a model engineering business.
