A unique experience is promised at Warwick Arts Centre when powerhouse West African supergroup Les Amazones d'Afrique explode onto the stage to stamp rhythm and dance into the very essence of what critics have described as a modern revolution in music.
The three women singers were last seen on the Pyramid stage at Glastonbury and at least one of their songs was known to feature on the favourite playlist of former US president Barrack Obama.
The date is 6 October when Mamani Keita, Fefa Ruffino and Adeola Soyemi headline the Music Beyond Mainstream event (MBM) currently touring major UK venues to showcase the very best in African creativity and innovation.
Backing Les Amazones will be keyboard player Manu Chavanet and drummer Zavier Pernet.
But before that, from the shores of Lake Malawi, will come the not-so-traditional sounds of babatoni player Gasper Nail with his three-metre-long home-made bass guitar, best used to create almost impossible dance beats. Somewhere in the mix he also uses a beer bottle and a cow-skin kick drum for added percussion.
Meanwhile to open the evening will be another Glastonbury success story, N'Famady Kouyate, who was named the Best Emerging Talent in 2023 with his indie and jazz influence blends. Collectively all three acts are performing at the Arts Centre under the banner of African Soul Rebels.
Selectively, organisers claim this isn't just a gig - it's the revival of a movement.

Members of Coventry-based a cappella choir Worldsong have been invited to provide a chorus for one of the songs by Les Amazones.
Worldsong members are also performing in the 24-hour music marathon at Coventry Cathedral over this weekend (25 and 26 September). Their slot is scheduled for 3pm today. 26 September.
