Coventry's Belgrade Theatre is making two acclaimed productions available to watch online this summer, for free.
Reasons To Be Cheerful, the Ian Dury and the Blockheads musical, which premiered at the Belgrade in September 2018, will be available for free until August 3 on the production company Graeae's website.
A raucous coming-of-age tale, the show (pictured above) is part play, part gig, packed with punk attitude and classic songs like Hit Me With Your Rhythm Stick, and Sex And Drugs And Rock And Roll.
From June 16 to 30, you can see again Made In India, another Belgrade premiere, this time from 2017. Co-produced by the Belgrade and Tamasha, Satinder Chohan's powerful play about motherhood focuses on the commercial surrogacy industry in India. It's being streamed via Tamasha's YouTube channel and Facebook page.
Full details of how to watch both productions can be found on the Belgrade's Between Stages hub at www.belgrade.co.uk/between-stages
