In a special initiative for the lockdown, top actors will be quizzed about their careers and how they prepare for their roles....and you can watch live on YouTube
Film star Juliet Stevenson will be interviewed live online about her career and her approach to acting today at 4pm (April 17) as part of an exciting new venture by Warwick's Playbox Theatre.
You can see the interview live or watch it later on YouTube.
Juliet, perhaps best known for her role in the film Truly Madly Deeply (pictured), is the first volunteer to take part in the initiative, called Chatterbox.
She will answer questions from mainly Playbox students and their tutors in the Zoom session. The idea is to inspire drama students and to give them and the rest of us an insight into how great actors approach their trade.
Another five Chatterbox sessions have already been lined up.
Next in front of the camera (April 24) will be the Royal Shakespeare Company actor Paapa Essiedu, followed by Holby City and The English Game actress Niamh Walsh (May 1); then RSC actress Lucy Phelps on May 6. Lucy was midway through a tour of As You Like It when the coronavirus closed down the theatres.
Lucy will be followed by Nasia Thomas (May 7), who was rehearsing for the Broadway musical Caroline, or Change when the crisis began, and finally on May 8 it will be Charlie Russell and Dave Hearn who co-founded the Mischief Theatre, answering the questions.
All the interviews will take place at 4pm and can be watched live or downloaded later. Donations would be welcome but are not essential.
