Once, Belgrade Theatre, Coventry, March 10-14.
On the bleak streets of Dublin, two lost souls, a local street busker and a Czech musician, meet and find themselves unexpectedly falling in love.
Forged by their shared love of song-writing, over five days their relationship deepens, until the moment comes to think about the future.
Based on the 2007 Irish indie film, a huge international hit made on a shoestring budget, Once the musical picked up eight Tony Awards when it premiered on Broadway in 2012, and now comes to the Belgrade on its first major UK tour.
Singer-songwriter and actor Daniel Healy, who has co-written songs for Ronan Keating, returns to the stage in the role of Guy, the street busker, a part he played in the 2013 West End production of the romantic musical, which won an Olivier Award. Emma Lucia plays Girl, the musician who unlocks his heart.
