The Civic Hall Pantomime Company celebrates its 10th anniversary this year, with this family favourite.
There will be 20 performances including a relaxed show on Saturday, December 7, at 2pm, when sound and lighting, flashing lights and bangs and noises, will be reduced.
Tickets are already selling well for the show, written by Ben Crocker.
Tim Norton, the Civic Hall general manager and Beauty and the Beast director, said: “I believe we have a pantomime to be proud of, and one which our patrons will enjoy - full of wonderful songs and dance routines.
“Tickets are really selling well and we advise people to buy them in plenty of time so as not to be disappointed.’’
The cast includes Lizzie Sheard as Rose and Beauty, Adam Braidley as the Prince and the Beast, Ethan Bradshaw as Felix, Lori McLare as Malabelle, Robbie Noonan as Jacques, Jas Nisic as Capucine and Anthony Williamson as the Dame.
There's also a six-strong team of local dancers – Ellie Barnes, Amber Burdett, Cameron Hankinson, Megan Lowe, Paige Newbury and Bethany Snade.
