Dysfunctional family laughs from Palin

January 28, 2019

The Weekend, Talisman Theatre, Kenilworth, Feb 4-9.

The family are expected for the weekend and world-weary Stephen Febble is polishing up his sarcasm and making sure the whisky glass is within easy reach at all times. With daughter, her dreary husband, precocious child and even dog in tow, he's sure to have need of both.

The climax of this happy family gathering arrives on Saturday night when his endlessly patient wife Virginia has planned a dinner party, and even invited the chiropodist. What could possibly go wrong?

National treasure Sir Michael Palin's (right) only play for theatre has been described as a comedy with teeth and this production is directed by Vicky Whitehill.

Tickets from the box office on 01926 856548 or at www.talismantheatre.co.uk.
