Moira Buffini’s Olivier award winning comedy, Handbagged, looks behind the closed doors of the palace to speculate what really happened when two of the most powerful women in the world clashed.

Director, Gus MacDonald. Gus says: “I’ve found it a real pleasure to direct Handbagged. It's been fascinating for us all - young and old - to explore (or for the slightly older members of the cast, re-visit) the events that occurred during Thatcher’s premiership.
"There’s been a fair bit of reminiscing in the rehearsal room, and a LOT of laughter….”
Don’t miss your chance to see the Queen and Margaret Thatcher in wickedly funny conversation at the Loft Theatre.
