Rock 'n' Roll legends join Civic Hall line-up
There’s something for everyone coming to the Civic Hall in Bedworth. April’s events get under way with Navi, and his acclaimed Michael Jackson show, on Saturday, April 7. The next Friday, the High Street venue hosts Swan Lake performed by Vienna Festival ballet. And the Mayor’s Civic Appeal will benefit when the Royal Marines Association presents an Evening of Marches, Overtures and Big Band Music on Saturday, April 14. Rock and roll legends Showaddywaddy (above) return to Bedworth on Friday, April 20, and ticket demand is expected to be high. The Mary Ann Evans Hospice will benefit from the highly popular annual Strictly Learn to Dance event the following night. Irish singing sensation Michael English will take to the stage on Thursday, April 26, and he'll be supported by the legendary Brendan Shine. Five-piece vocal group The Overtones will make their keenly anticipated return on Saturday, April 28.
The weekend of Saturday, May 19, sees the start of Nuneaton Festival of Arts, which is celebrating its 70th anniversary holding its piano, and stage dance sections. Strictly Come Dancing star Pasha Kovalev brings his magic of Hollywood show to the venue on Thursday, May 31. The locally-based Sirens Theatre will perform their version of The Full Monty from Wednesday, June 6, to the Friday of that week. Vocal legends The Drifters will be back at the Civic Hall some 60 years after they were formed, appearing on Saturday, June 16. And Nuneaton and Pantomime Revue Society will be presenting Return To The Forbidden Planet for a three-day run, starting on Thursday, June 21.
