Aladdin with Queen songs is a kind of magic
Aladdin, Bedworth Civic Hall, tonight (Jan 25) to January 27.
It's late in the panto season, but a magic carpet ride awaits audiences as award-winning members of the Nuneaton Pantomime and Review Society stage four performances of Aladdin, including a matinee on January 27.
The NPRS has won prizes for its pantomimes for three years on the trot and this latest offering promises to keep up that run, as the evil Abanazar (Andy Hardy) picks on Bedworth for his New Year break.
Kids will adore Stink and Pong, the banana-wielding Keystone Cops, while adults will appreciate the great tunes from Queen that choreographer Jo Maconnachie has woven into the action on stage.
Bethany Higgins has the title role of Aladdin with Amy Jane Whittaker as Princess Jasmine, and Paul Saunders as the genie.
This colourful version of Aladdin has been created and is directed by Katherine Brookes.
