In-LIght ll (an autumn light spectacular, Compton Verney art gallery, November 4&5 , 6.30-8.30pm
Light and sound, projected on a huge scale, returns to Warwickshire's Compton Verney art gallery this weekend, as part of the national Museums At Night programme.
For the second year running, the historic Robert Adam-designed house and its Capability Brown landscape will be bathed in light as part of an astonishing contemporary 'son et lumiere' show staged by highly-regarded light and sound team Luxmuralis, renowned for creating vibrant and visual artwork in public places, notably in the past Lichfield Cathedal, the Pitt Rivers Museum in Oxford and the Natural History museum in Oxford.
Their IN-LIGHT II project draws on poetry and nature to create stunning light projections on the Compton Verney facade, bringing to life the written word in a rich and colourful palette, with flora and fauna depicted on both a miniature and epic scale.
