Jackson Live in Concert, Belgrade Theatre, Coventry, Saturday, September 2.For Michael Jackson fans this could be the next best thing to seeing their hero live on stage.
The concert show is in its eighth year of touring and sees long-time fan of the King of Pop, Ben Bowman, recreate the Michael Jackson experience with his stunning performance of all the great songs. Ben’s mesmerising, energetic and dynamic portrayal of Jackson perfectly captures the star at the height of his powers. He sings live throughout the show and performs all the Michael Jackson dance routines, including the famous Moonwalk. Ben is joined on the stage by an incredible band and dancers who work their way through the hits. His renditions of Thriller, Beat it and Billie Jean promise to be sensational. A review in the York Evening Press said: "From high-energy super-hits to slower, more emotive pieces, Bowman and his band had the audience singing and dancing in the aisles throughout...it's a show for fans, made by fans, with some incredibly talented and enthusiastic people behind it."
And 6 Towns Radio in Staffordshire said the show "is the closest thing you are going to get to the man himself, with a performance so energetic and heartfelt, you’ll forget you’re watching a tribute show."
The real Michael Jackson had a career spanning nearly five decades. He was one of the most influential artists of all time and continues to inspire countless people across the globe.
This show is staged by Sweeney Entertainments, co-founded by Julie and Peter Sweeney.
The Belgrade Theatre box office is on 024 7655 3055.
